Vanguard has launched a new range of travel tripods, monopods and camera bags, dubbed the VEO Collection.
Aimed at travel photographers, the VEO Collection is compact and lightweight but incorporates some of the advanced features of full-size camera support systems, Vanguard says.
For instance, rather than the traditional tripod design of reversing each of the three legs one by one, the VEO tripod collection uses a column rotation system which the company says allows it to fold down (or set up) much quicker.
What’s more, its legs can also be set at three different angles and boast retractable spiked feet to cope with different types of terrain. Vanguard says its new VEO tripods and monopods can handle loads of up to 10kg.
Other key features include:
• A rapid column rotation system for quick setup or packing away
• The first travel tripod with three different leg angles – 25, 45 and 80 degrees, Vanguard claims
• The TBH-50 Ball Head has a lockable panoramic solution
• Rubber feet with retractable spike for extra stability outdoors (except 204AB with rubber feet)
• Adjustable leg locks to maintain stability
• Low angle adaptor to enable to set camera at 18cm from the ground
Prices for the tripods will range from £100 to £250.

The VEO bags launched simultaneously are designed for both DSLRs or compact system cameras (the VEO 37 Messenger Bag) and can carry all of your kit, including the tripod, Vanguard says.
Vanguard’s VEO Collection will be available from select dealers this month.
